Hello. My name is Kris Kostura. I've been teaching special education for 20 years at Sheckler Elementary. I'm currently the Learning Support Teacher.

A little about me. I grew up in the Lehigh Valley. I have 4 dogs, 3 chickens, and 1 cat. I also have a huge pond with fish and frogs in my backyard! In my free time I love to garden. I had a landscaping business for over 20 years. It is no wonder that I'm also part of our schools Garden Club and maintain the courtyard year round. I helped create the pollinator garden, pumpkin patch, and watermelon garden. I enjoy teaching students about growing and the benefits of pollinators. For years I used to hatch and release praying mantis in my classroom. Our hard work has been posted in local newpapers over the years!
