  • Physical, Dental, & Immunization Requirements

    The School Health Law of Pennsylvania requires all children to have a medical examination upon original entry in to school (Kindergarten or First Grade), Grade Six, Grade Eleven or for those children in any grade who have transferred to the Catasauqua School District without record of previous medical examination.

    The Pennsylvania Department of Health requires that all children at any grade K through 12 show written proof of state required immunizations before they can attend school in the Commonwealth. Minimum requirements include 4 doses of Diptheria, Pertussis & Tetanus, 4 doses of Polio, 2 doses of Measles, Mumps, Rubella, 3 doses of Hepatitis B, and 2 doses of Varicella.
