Dear Catasauqua Area School District Students, Families, Employees, & Community,
I am incredibly proud and honored to serve as the Catasauqua Area School District Superintendent of Schools. CASD is a leader in education through our commitment to delivering high quality, learner-centered programs that embrace innovation, problem solving and interdisciplinary collaboration in order to foster student achievement and prepare students for success in life after graduation from high school.
As Superintendent, it will be my privilege to continue to serve the students, families, and larger Catasauqua educational community. As a mother to 4 children and as a public school educator, I value and prioritize a high quality education. I have enjoyed twenty-six years of experience in public education as a teacher, building administrator and district administrator as well as numerous years as a youth, high school, and collegiate level coach. Having served as the Catasauqua Area School District Assistant Superintendent for 3 years and Director of Curriculum & Assessment for 16 years, I know that we have a great foundation of academic excellence rooted in unique Catty traditions. I look forward to a bright future with dedicated faculty and staff who are committed to ensuring the success of all students.
Catasauqua Area School District takes pride in our continuous improvement efforts! We consistently evaluate, reflect and take action to enhance our educational program. We invite you to be an active participant in your child’s education throughout the school year! Each and every one of us is an important member of our school community, and we all have a critical role in supporting the education of our students. In partnership with our community, Catasauqua Area School District will continue to engage, empower, and inspire our students to achieve educational excellence and promote lifelong learning!
In my first year as Superintendent, I look forward to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure our students receive an exceptional education.
Best wishes for a fulfilling 2023-2024 school year! Go Roughs!
Dr. Christina K. Lutz-Doemling
